Cable Slide Rod ??

I changed to some different brand parts on my Cheetah after my strings granaded at full draw , now i have a Vane clearance problem at my strings , i cant move my slide rod over any further because it hits my rest bracket , my question is if i turn my slide rod upward it gives me plenty of clearance , will turning the rod upward cause any problems ?

Turning the rod upwards is possible but will lead to cam-lean at the upper cam (or is this a 1-Cam? In this case it will lead to Wheel-lean. xD).

I believe both the up and down position will give alil cam/wheel lean...I alway's have my offset cable rod just clear enough of the fletching to where it will not interfere(Cock Fletch Down is how I place my arrow's). Cock Fletch out will give you more vane clearance with the least amount of angle on your cable rod since your vane will be facing up at an angle rather than directly Right or Left to your string.
