Default Considering installing CCS on 2010 Cheetah

After reading about the possibility of cam lean and needing a longer cable I wonder if this will add stress to components due to the short ATA? Also if it is acceptable to install the CCS how much longer should the cable be? As I continue to think about this is there a benefit to add the CCS?

    Thanks for your assistance.

In all honesty, don't get the CCS. Although it may make the draw feel smoother (IMO it doesn't) it adds undue stress to the limbs and increases draw weight. Just stick with the rod and glide. Simple and effective

Plus the fact when you install the CCS it will increase your draw weight by up to 12 pounds

And as far as slides go, I won't buy anything but a Saunders Hyperglide. IMO they're the best there is.

Pretty sure Joel Diffey was talking about a dude named Earl who shot a bow w a roller guard ...possible CCS...
when he called him "the Charlie Daniels of the torque wrench.". Cam lean & limb torque aren't my friends.....bent cable rod all day every day for me

The extra speed is not worth it at all.

There's no doubt you'll get more speed, but at a price. As Greg said, because the cables no longer slide but are static the draw weight goes up. IMO, after having a bow with the CCS, it puts to much side torque on the limbs causing them to twist more as the bow is drawn, ergo the extra cam lean. Limbs are not designed to be twisted. They are designed to flex (*bend) toward each other, not to the side.
