Picked Up....
Well I got a free compound bow from my dad. He works for a moving company and got 2 bows for free and gave me one. I was curious how how good this model is, and what the general spec are. Its a Martin Lynx XR Series. I dont know too much about bows but I do know they are funner then hell to shoot.
It's an old bow - what are your intentions for it?
I found out it was a 96-97 Model. Basically I'll probably target practice, possibly small game.
It should be OK for your intended use. I had a Lynx a few years older than that. It didn't have the let off or the speed of the newer bows but it shot fine. Just check it over good, you might want to consider replacing the string etc as well. Good shooting.
