What do you think, does the yolk cable need to be replaced?

I would just re-serve them, they look like fairly new strings.
First, it's yoke, not yolk. And I would reserve them, too. When you need new strings get some from an aftermarket maker such as Vapor Trail or many others and you'll never see this problem again.

I don't think reserving is too advanced for a novice Afterall, you have to start somewhere with your own repairs. I did about 36 years ago and have never had a bow in a shop for any maintenance.
All you really need is a serving jig and a spool of good serving material, which should last a very long time (years). Then you have to remove the string/cable from the bow and have some sort of jig to stretch it out. Then go to it.
Of course. it might be a good idea to pick up a DVD on string making just to show you the finer points. As with anything else, you'll get better with time.
