    Default Maintenance vs arrows..

Hi guys I have a question for you. I am shooting a lot and I was wondering if there is a schedule for maintenance for the bows. I got my bow last year and I have shot almost 30.000 arrows with it. I have changed strings and cables 3 times.. I lubricate the bushings once month or when I have been shooting in rain.. And the bow.. Martin Scepter 4..

    Have fun and hit X

The only thing I question is why you are lubing the bushings. S4 doesn't have bushings. It has factory sealed roller bearings which need no lubrication. With the exception of changing string/cable, which you are doing, there isn't much in the way of maintenance on a bow. Maybe go over all the screws and bolts once in a while; break them loose and retighten just to make sure they don't get rusted in place.
