    Default Dreamcatcher

I just received a new Dreamcatcher recurve and have a few question about set up, if anyone knows. First, deals with arrow alignment. Should I use a thick striker plate or just seal skin on rolling up from the shelf? I shoot from the shelf.

Second also deals with arrow alignment. What is the ideal nocking point if I shoot three finger under rather than split finger?

    Hi there,

On my Shelf I use deer hide but Ive used seal skin in the past, Either will work. The one thing I do on the shelf before I cover it is to take a 3/8" piece of of boot lace and glue it in the middle of the shelf about an 1/8" from the side to have a litte fletch clearance.

As for shooting 3 under, I would start at an 1/8 above zero and move a 1/16" up until you get good arrow flight. Congrats on the new bow. Kenny
