Wink Adjustment of the draw weight

I inherited an older MARTIN PRO SERIES BENGAL COMPOUND BOW that states 35-80# on the specifications. What does this mean and how to I adjust the poundage? Can anyone give me information on this bow?

Got to be a misprint or something. No bow has ever been made by anybody with that amount of weight adjustment. Most likely it's a 35-50. Have you bottomed the limbs and put it on a bow scale? All thge Martin bos I've ever seen had a 15# adjustment range.

You could also try to find out in which year the bow was made so we can help you further. We need year of production, cam type and the Number written on the side of the limb. To get the number you have to turn the limb bolts out around 5 turns. You should see something written in white like 2l. Provide this information and we may give you more detailed information.
