    Default Cam Sweet Spot

Does someone have a picture of how much of the string groove is showing on cam for the M-PRO cam to be timed for its sweet spot. I have been told there should be somewhere around 1/2 to 3/4 of an inch of the groove showing this would be on a 07 Bengal with no draw stop hope this makes sense. I am getting 243 fps out of my bow and was told for my set up it should be more like 250 to 270 and I could attain this by twisting up the cable to get the desired amount of groove.

The recommended gap in the string groove is about 3/8", but this is just "recommended" in a general term. This is where you start and then play around with it using a chronograph.

That being said, if you are looking for more speed then there are a lot of ways to get it besides playing with the cam. I've always adjusted as necessary for my drawlength down to the last 1/8". If string twisting is involved so be it, but I won't compromise that for a few fps.
