    Default Draw Weight?

Does anyone know if I tighten my limb bolts all the way in on a Martin Firecat Pro X, would that be @ 70 lb?

Well now. That would depend on whether the bow is rated as 55-70 or not. Like if it's a 45-60# I doubt very seriously if it will go to 70#.

OK, I'm pulling your leg a bit. The answer is quite obvious. With the limbs bottomed out the bow should reach 70#. But it might alos go to about 73#. Or it might only make 68#. Scales vary some, too.

All kidding aside...I hear if you stand on a bathroom scale w/your bow...take a reading....then draw the bow back and take another reading, that will give you your 'Draw Weight'....
