I have heard new in the box Pro series bows bought through e-bay vendors are not covered by Martins Warranty even if they are a Pro Shop. Is this true?

Where have you heard this? I have heard nothing like that.

Rather than telling you what I think this is really a question that customer service should answer. And ask the name of who you are talking to.
I have heard something similiar; My dealer had told me that Pro Dealers are not supposed to sell new Martin bows via Ebay, etc... I guess it really depends on who your dealing with.
Pro dealers are supposed to only sell face to face, I'd be shocked if Martin wouldn't care of you if you had a problem.
Does that mean that they still wouldn't stand behind it?
How would some poor smuck buying the bow know this?
I asked the same question before purchasing my Martin Moab online. The shop I purchased it from is a Martin Pro Dealer listed here in their dealer locator just not in my state.
Terry Martin himself e-mailed me and said it would be covered as long as I had the original receipt.
I got my Martin also via the internet from the only martin dealer in germany who is selling this model. The point is that they shall not be sold via ebay.

Mine was from an e-bay auction and I was told it is covered.
