I shot this 4X3 mule deer with my Martin Slayr SE on September 2, 2005 in northern Washington state. He walked in at twelve yards. Slick Trick 125gr broadhead.
The European Mount, I did myself, along with making the mounting board.

Well done, on the kill and the mount. Looks like the area I hunt. About 20 miles east of Tonasket and 20 west of Republic. Out near Tunk Mt. and Bailey Mt. Good area but no luck this far. I had a chance lat year but couldn't put it together.

Sorry it didn't come together for you last year. I have had my share of dry spells. If it was too easy...would it be as fun? Gonna try something different this year. Going to the same place, but in December (brrrrrrrr). "They" say that is when the Big Bruisers show up! Just hoping it will be worth the frozen fingers and toes.
