    Default Cable rod

Are the Martin carbon cable rods offset or straight? I just ordered a 9" carbon rod as a replacement for the rod that is missing on my 08 cheetah. And if it is straight will i have clearance for blazer vanes without excessive cam lean?

The standard rod for the cheetah is a straight rod but you can order one of those 'doglegged' rods also. I have heard nothing about vane clearing problems with a straight rod on a Cheetah so it should also work for you.

    Default slayer cable rod

I have an 08 slayer with the straight rod. I noticed on a new slayer at my shop they have a dog leg rod on it. I have a slight vane clearence problem. can I order this rod?

Yey you can. Just make sure they ship you the doglegged version.

If you are using the doglegged one you will notice some more cam lean which should be corrected as good as possible.

Just ask your martin dealer to order it or call martin customer service yourself.
