07 Or 08 Bengal

I need some help i bought a bengal in jan 08. It has the smooth vem dampners in the risers like the 08 not the ones that stick out like the 07. but the riser isnt drilled in the rear for the string suppresor. The problem i having is i need a new string and cable the 07 shoots a 88 with a 33.5 cable, and the 08 shoots a 88.5 with a 33.5 cable. On the bow its says 88.5 and 33.5, but which year do i have?

08s have a hole in the back of the riser for an sts.

thats wierd because the website says if my bow is an 07 that i need a 88 inch string but on the bow limb it says i need a 88.5 string like an 08.

I agree with Joel that you could have an 08 without the hole drilled for the STS as you have the sticker for the 08-lengths and also the black cam setup.

My Slayer is an 07 with an 08 riser. Bought it late in 07.
