    Default Getting Martin "Certified" ???

How does one go about becoming "Certified" as a Martin Bow Tech./Mechanic?

Between all the work I do on our own (family) bows and keeping the bows for the Church's Youth Archery Program flinging along, I'm pretty sure I already have most of the necessary skills and tools.

Not that I mind going through my local dealer, since he knows my skills and lets me do most all of the work… But I’d still like the "legal" ability to do my own work, and order parts and talk to the Tech's at Martin directly, etc.

Funny you should ask. Sorry, but I can't answer it. I'm pretty much like you. I've done 100% of my own work over the last 35+ years so what I know is from "doing".

I honestly don't know if Martin has a program to certify technicians. I know PSE used to, but haven't kept up with things. When I have a problem I fix it. Pure and simple.
