    Default M2 Pro Cam

I am probably going to buy a 2009 Martin MOAB. The new M2 Pro Cam claims to be faster but the IBOs are the still listed as 315-320. In what way is the cam faster?

    Thanks.

Beats me. Maybe they are getting more at 317 vs 316! - seriously, I have no idea.

Ive noticed on some bows like the saber that the ibo is up from 310 to 320fps.Also maybe at lower draw weight's the bows are faster than with the m-pro cam's.

With the Mpro casm, it took a lot more tricks to wring out the IBO speed. With the faster Mpro cam, you can achieve IBO speed at IBO specs more easily without all the semantics.

    Default they look fragile!

Is it just me or do the 09' Mpro cams look a little fragile? I can understand weight reduction and all that , but hunting bows are subject to a little bumping and banging in and out of tree stands etc.

Maybe these cams are stronger than they look. I can see putting cams like that on their target bows ,but on a hunting bow ........i may be glad i went with the 08' bengal instead of the 09'. Just my take..........

You'd be really impressed if you had any idea of the
forces and vibration applied to any cam when a bow goes off. A whole lot more stress than those couple of bumps and bruises while hunting you are referring to.
