1997 sounds more like it. I was going to comment on the steel cables. Martin hasn't used them for years. In fact the only bows you see them on these days are very low end entry level bows.

you should buy a cheetah 2008 there an awesome bow i just switched back to martin after having two other brands of bows i still own my martin jag mag from 2000 and just perchased a 2008 cheetah fast quiet and hard hitting i went from shooting the fastest bow in the world the apa black mamba 1 to the cheetah and am so happy to have a martin again.
