Martin Hunter Recurve

I purchased a used Damon Howatt Hunter recurve. Would like to get some tech info on this bow. I am not sure what year it was made. The info on the lower limb is; 60#@28", HH01917, Amo 62". Was this bow designed to accept fast flight strings? What is the correct string length? Is there manual available for this bow? Would like some tips on best bow setup, including arrow suggestions.

You can check the tech charts on Martin's home website. String length is 4" shorter than the bow, but with recurve and longbows you order according to the AMO length. In other words you'd get a 62" AMO string. Whether you can use fastflight material I do not know.

According to the serial # the first two number are usually the year of manufacture so I'd say 2001.

Bow setup is going to vary according to your draw length. Recurves lose about 2# of draw per each inch shorter than 28". Add 2# per each inch over 28".
