    I was getting that metallic sound from my 08 Bengal with the STS.I removed the STS and put on string leeches and the sound disappeared.Was wondering if the rubber stopper may be too soft,causing the aluminum rod to vibrate.

    im gonna try the limbsaver string decelerator rubber bumper on my sts before i remove my sts. you can pick 1 up for 9.00 bucks, the stock one just seems too soft and the metallic sound drives me nuts.
