    Default How fast is the 2008 Slayer X with Cat Cams

    I have my Slayer X set to 55 lbs, how fast is the arrow traveling at that draw weight?

    27 inch draw and 27.5 inch arrow with 100 gr tip and 400 spine.

    That still doesn't tell the mass weight of the arrow. You need to know the weight of the shaft, insert, point, and nock. Is the fletch end have wraps on it?

    Might help if you tell us just what shaft. Maybe we can work with that.

    Also, what all is on the string? Everything on the string slows the bow down.

    I did not know it was this technical.

    I am using Beman ICS Hunter 400 arrows.

    The only thing on the string is a G5 Meta Pep sight

    Thumbs up speed

    i have an 08 slayer set at 63# shooting easton fatboys 400 spine shooting around 277fps / or shooting litespeeds 297 fps both w/100 grain tips . maxed out at 73# it shot 342fps this bow flatout shoots!

    OK, doing the math and cross referencing it against IBO rating for the bow I'm coming up with a figure of just about 300 fps. It can vary some so I'd give it a ball park figure of between 290 fps and 300 fps. Hows that?

    Now go find a chrono and see what it actually is.
