what does anyone think about high let off for nitrous cams with x system pros & cons please thanks Dale
The HL mods for the notrous system are advertised as 75%, but can vary from 71%-74% depending on cam rotation. They are quite smooth rolling over; more so than an averave HL bow.
For hunting, I shoot HL mods. For 3-D and spots, I have 65%. Depends on the use. To hunt, a higher letoff will give you more time to wait for the perfect shot to present itself. For 3-D and target, a smoother acelleration results from the 65% because there is less energy being stored in the cam design to accellerae through in the same time. Tends to be a bit more accurate, and easier to hold at the wall too.
