I have had my Moab for a couple months. It's been shot maybe 500+ shots. No prblem with the CCS wearing the cable/string, but I did have issues with the serving separating where it wraps over the module during draw. I also noticed yellow spots on the CCS rollers which I assume was just dye coming out of the string.
I tore the bow down after marking the string/cable and stripped all the serving off both. Then added 15 twists to the string to tighten up the bundle. Then served the area that rolls over the CCS and the idler wheel. Then reserved the end of the cable at the cam. After that I stripped off the center serving and reserved it with .014" Halo for better nock fit (almost perfect now). While I was doing this I only put on a 4" center serving and a little patch where the string hits the STS. There's no reason to have a 10" center serving. All it does is add weight to the string and slows the bow down.
End result is a tighter, more quiet string, with better nock fit and a lot less peep roll. Not perfect yet, but getting closer. After I have the bow the way I want I'll get some custom string made to the length I want.
