Does anyone know how to properly place the leather arrow rest on the savvanah longbow? the picture given in the manual is in black and white. I can't figure it out and don't want to screw up, especially with the price of the bow. a simple explanation would be wonderful.
When using the Martin Traditional Rest, I like to put the small lace material under the leather on both the shelf and sight window. It runs perpendicular to the arrow on the shelf and sight window. You can either cut it in two pieces at the 90 degree bend, or just bend it.
This raised material will give a smaller contact area on the arrow.
