    Talking Bowmaster Portable

    Is the bowmaster portable bow press save to use on Martin bows to change strings and tuning strings and cams.I know it is not recomended for some pse bows Thanks Laz

    You do not need one to work on most Martin Bows. Just back the limb bolts out a few turns at a time equally until everything slackens up.

    Allready have one been using it for quite a while on other brands of bows . Just wanted to know if it was safe to use on martins .

    To answer your question,... yes it is safe. I have one myself and still use it on my bows just to be on the "safe side" of things.

    The bowmaster is one of the safest to use as it guarantees no torquing of the limbs or riser. The PSE's with the slanted down split limbs won't work, as won't the Browning Grand Illusion, and the Mathews monster, as they have the same design.
