Life span of a good compound bow?

I've got about 2,200 draws on a Martin Rytera. Any ideas about how long a good compound bow will last? Thanks!

I have a Martin that was built in 1992 and one that was built in 1994 (along with 3 newer ones) that have had so many arrows flung outta them I cant even speculate on the number of shots - both still shoot great ! ! !
Also have an early '80s Martin recurve that shoots great...

Ain't that the truth. I'm 62 and been shooting compounds for over 35 years. The longest I ever kept one and shot it was about 5 years, but shooting upwards of 20,000 shots a year and never wore one out.

Riser, limbs, and cams last forever. It's even hard to wear out bearings these days. Now way back when it was possible to wear out a set of cam bushings, but that before the advent of roller bearings. About the only thing that's going to wear out these days is the rigging (string & cable). Even so, I've pushed the limit on them and had them on a bow for as long as 6 years.
