    Default FireCat speed

Who asked me about the speed I'm getting from my Cat. Chrono'd the thing today and here's what I have.

    50#, 26.5" draw

    306 gr arrow.........250 fps
    275 gr arrow.........262 fps

    53#, 26.5" draw

    306 gr arrow..........262 fps
    275 gr arrow..........275 fps

For what it's worth I've been shooting the bow at 50# with the heavier arrow (ACC 3-28) because that's the one that shoots the best. I'm not all that disappointed as I could get more if I tweaked the bow and cahnged to an arrow that weighed 5gr/lb. My goal is accuracy, not speed. And it must be noted that this is a 3D setup. My hunting arrows weigh 10 grains more at 315gr, but I won't chrono them as speed is not a criteria for shooting 20-30 yards anyway.
