    Default String change

This has nothing to do with Martin , but today i've changed for the first time the string of a compound bow (55# Perfect Line taiwanian bow) using the Bowmaster press and i'm very proud It was a little difficult because the original string has torn and i didn't remember the position of the cables on the cams, but i figured it out and now the bow's ready for action
    2008 Martin MOAB - 45-60#, set at about 51-53# / 55#" Perfect Line" compound/ 55# Mongol horsebow/ 45# "Perfect Line" takedown recurve/ 45# Bearpaw Grizzly hunter recurve/ 55# Samick Longbow Cheetah ... and several homemade bows

Thanks, Simon! I had a busy "bow" day today - aftersummer inspecting and waxing my MOAB, making a nocking points and waxing on my newly-stringed taiwanian compound and my new 55#hungarian horsebow and some final adjustments on the two takedown bows which i've made (beech risers and limbs from fir branches-not very powerful, but a great fun to build and good for a non-intense target shooting)... And of course some shooting.
