Looks like you already have everything on your bow to make it silentIf you have lowered the poundage may be this is the reson. Also if you have some of the accesories not tightened enough? I'm not a specialist in bow noise reduction, because i am a target shooter not a hunter , so hope the other guys will help you more

yeah, i have checked everything on my bow for tightness, even took my quiver off. ty for your help tho![]()
Tom,
How is the cam orientation? There are certain sweet spots or "spots" in the cam's rotation that make it more quiet. Often the bow can be noisy if the cam is over rotated.
Any way you can post a picture of the cam?

I too have a cheetah and it sounds really loud, Im going to jump in and post a pic of my cam later. I sure wish we could get this figured out, its the only thing im not 100% happy with on my cheetah.
i also unfortunately have 2 broken strands in my string due to my "wonderful" pro shop guy putting my peep sight in, could that be causing some of the noise?
OK Tom, the cam doesn't look all that bad. If anything it's slightly under rotated, which shouldn't cause noise. I was going to ask whether you had an STS, but I see it's already got that. The only other thing with the STS to check is it's location in reference to the string. Most people set them up for a slight gap between the bumper and the string---maybe 1/16" or a little less. How's yours?
What's the draw weight and length set for. How long are the arrows?
I don't think this little item matters either, but I notice you have the draw stop set to it's max setting. Are really drawing the bow that far? In other words, at full draw does the bow feel a little mushy or is there a solid wall?
Just for conversational purposes I see you're stationed at McGuire. As in Air Force or are you civilian? I ask because I have a brother lives close by in Browns Mills. I'm not that far away by internet standards---125 miles. Maybe I could look you up next time I'm visiting him.
Push comes to shove you could take the bow to the Sportsman Center north of you on Rte. 206. Maybe shoot it there and they can come up with some ideas. I'm pretty sure they have a couple decent technicians there. Not putting you off by any means. Sometimes hands-on is the best way to figure things out.

im active duty, but as far as the bow goes, i shoot 70# 30"dl
29.5" easton powerflight 300(9.5 gpi)
100gr broadheads
i have a solid wall at full draw and my STS is set up to touch my string at rest.
one ? tho, is it better to have my STS angled toward my nock point or cam, right now its toward my nock point?
sportsmens center is very good, i was talking about one individual at "the other place"
