style of nocks

Hey guys just a quick question on nocks ? What is the difference between single click nocks and double click nocks? Or better yet what is the purpose of a double click nocks? And which do you guys prefer?

good question...I have been hunting whitetail via bow since I was 15 and this never crossed my mind, always hunted double click... I do notice the double click doesn't move much... could shoot without a knock if you had a painted "knock" mark probably...as long as release or loop was installed in true apex...I have seen traditional guys that didn't use a brass knock point... don't know if the two are related... would be cool if someone actually knew

I have double click arrow nocks and have been shooting them for some time.
Recently I broke a couple and put in some single click nocks, they seem to be more accurate. Or maybe its just me but I like them better.

in theory...at least my beer theory... they should come off cleaner and easier... could fall off easier also on a cold morning...

I believe the double click nocks are for a safety reason, they snap in twice, to hold the arrow more secure.
Also, I've read where you do not want the nock to tight, are you will lose accuracy. Hope this helps.
