String Lenth Question

I got a used Damon Howatt Recure for x-mas, a Palomar. 33#@28" EPH 1985 69" Does any one know the brace height or string length. The bow came with a string but the seller told me it was not the correct one for the bow.

The rule of thumb here is the correct string length is 4 inches shorter than the bow length - 65" in your case. So long as there is still some contact with the string grooves you will be fine. A string that is too long will lower the brace height and increase the possibility you will hit your arm.
