Default New arrows and a place to get real craftmanship

    Hey all,
I picked up my arrows today. I chose the VForce HV 400 spined V3 shafts(6.1gpi, +/-.003 straightness, +/- 3gr weight tolerance). Standard inserts and bohning nocks, Blazer vanes, and 100 combo points. Weight was expected to be 315 grs.
Now for a little praise and advertising for the wonderful product and services I received. Per the Victory website the closest dealer was South Shore Archery Supply. I called and left a voicemail. Later in the day I got a call back from the owner Jerry Ratliff. He was very helpful and pleasant and described his arrow building techniques. He informed me of his website(southshorearcherysupply.com) I placed my order and picked them 3 days later. All I can say is wow.
The quality of his work is fantastic. No glue seepage around the fletchings, splined and sorted for weight consistancy, and the assembled product are within a grain of each other ranging from 315.1 to 316. I put one through the crony. 305fps, a single fps off my easton flatlines but these are a proper spine. They fly great too, stacking them up at 20 30 and 40 when I got home.
If you are in need of arrows(or other archery supplies) I suggest you visit the site or give Jerry a call. You won't be disappointed.

Brem, I shoot the Victory VAP 350's and love them. Next time you are up towards that shop, you should see if you can shoot a few. I think you'll like them. Great flight, penetration, and a sturdy arrow.
