anyone bowhunt around minot ND?

hello,
not really a "tech" question but here goes. i am in the USAF and hopefully will be moving to minot in a few months, unfortunately i only know bowhunting in NJ and was curious if anyone on here could tell me whats its like around minot?

I've never hunted there, but I have hunted N.J. where my brother lives---near Fort Dix. I would assume that at least you won't have to deal with thousands of deer ticks in N.D. LOL.

I've got some friends out there that say the hunting is good. Not real forsure if there is public land or if you will have to get in good w/ a landowner. My wife's sister goes to school there and has family there. They say the pheasant hunting is great! Not alot of help, but good luck!

hey, at this point any news or response is a good one, and for the record.....i HATE ticks!.....but short of that, FT. Dix has some GREAT hunting
