loud cheetah
when i fist bought my bow it was deadly silent. and now for some reason it has a very loud thump. i took it to a local bow guy, he didnt know much about martin but he didnt know why in was so loud. it is a 09 cheetah and had a string stop on it. even when i take the stop off it is loud. what should i do?

The "bow guy" doesn't necessarily have to know about Martin bows. Problems like this are much the same with all bows. I'm guessing that the string has stretched and the cam is over rotated. Check the specs on the bow. A2A and brace height. Also you may as well measure the draw length and check the draw weight. Get the bow back to specs by twsiting the string and cables and see what happens.

what do you mean by twisting the strings? i have ben shooting and hunting a while but now i am trying to learn how to work on them myself. my draw is 27 because i use a release. and every thing should be the same. it is practically new.
