And yep, i have to agree with Barry. You are in need of a dog legged string stopper.

You have now three possible ways to get one:

1) Call your dealer or Martin and let them ship you one.

2) Buy a string stop from an aftermarket company.

3) Build yourself one (which is what i would do. Just for fun...)!


I think you really need the possibility to adjust your stringstop...

Just take the bow back to your dealer and ask him to call Joel at customer service and request a dog-legged rod. If he asks real nice and Joel is in a good mood he may even throw in a new string. If he doesn't it's no big deal. Just reserve the string you have.

yeah i E-mailed martin and they said that they would send me one but i had to do it through a dealer.

bend it to where it is centered or buy a dog leged one, when not centered the string goes past the rubber and on it's way back jerks the rubber off.
