Bought a 2010 Warthog, specs say 350 at 30# w/350 gr. arrow. I shot a 350 gr arrow at my pro shop today, at 29" using a NAP quick tune 360 rest. The only thing on the string is the loop...a resounding 305 was the result. Is anyone else having this issue? I can see losing 15 fps for the inch in draw and 5 more for the loop and rest so where did the other 25 fps go? I wanted this setup for open ground hunts...I could have tweaked a bengal and pushed 300 fps for half the price? Help!!

something is definately wrong. a 70# warthog at 29" with a 350 gr arrow should be in the 335-340 range. I would check the ATA, BH, and tiller as well as put it on a bow scale to ensure the DW is what you think it is. Also cam timing is huge as the CAT cam likes to be wrapped tight.

make sure its pulling 70 lbs and at 80% LET OFF it will nock off about 10 to 15 fps.

I would try it without the STS installed and a couple of Sims Super Leeches on the string.

i am having the same problem and cant seam to get any help with it that will work mine has a 386 gr arrow at 296fps.

I would offer the same suggestions. Cam timing is everything with the CAT2. If its off it can rob a ton of speed. ATA, BH, and DW need to be checked. the cams need to be tuned and wrapped up tight. Im speculating that your at 29" #70 with a 386gr arrow? You should be in the 320-325fps range. there are several threads on Archerytalk.com that specifically tell you how to get the most out of the CAT cam.
