My wife has a 2004 Slayr with nitrous B's, the mods she has bottom out @ 26 inches. Since she switched to a thumb release the DL is too long. I'm lookin for mods that will get her to 25-25 !/2 " , if you got them, shoot me a PM
Thanks,
Doug

I could be wrong with what I'm going to say so here it goes. With my 06' Slayer I needed to get to 27". Mine had "C" cams .Was told I needed to find a set of " B " cams and the mod were the same. If I'm reading the charts right you will need to find differant "cams". Hope some one that really knows will chime in.
There are minimods that will work with the B-Cam so he has not to change the Cam. It might be easier to find minimods than to get a new Cam and new limbs.![]()

Just a question "Why the limb change?"
to keep the same poundage as the B cam a switch to the smaller A cam would also require limbs with a lower deflection

To elaborate on wisecane's post, bigger cams still have the same size cable tracks, so they have more leverage than smaller cams.
With NOS cams, dropping a size, will increase DW by about 5#.
If a bow has a max DW of 70# with C cams, it will have a max DW of 75# with B cams.
If you drop one deflection number, it will reduce the DW by 5#.
So my 70# Slayer with "c" cams will become a 65# with the new "b" cams. Is that correct?
75# is what it would become

So my new question is... Are there these proper mini mods available (anyone , dealers ) to get to 25 -25 1/2 inch DL with the B cams ? The bow has 35 -50 # limbs.
