I can't stop feeling the need to chime in here as well. I finally decided to upgrade my 2003 Jaguar Mag last month and thought I was all set on a 2010 Firecat TR2...that after testing the Pantera, Firecat Tr1, and Tr2. Of course my direction began to shift during my research on the Firecat, in which I started to seeing references to the Rytera Alien X. So the plethora of 2009 Firecat limb issues had me convinced I needed to go with a 2010, but the reviews I read on the Alien X were convincing enought to look further. Unfortunately, I couldn't find one anywhere around here to shoot.

The inertia was set, though, when I literally stumbled on a deal for a new 2010 Alien X and I pulled the trigger. Thanks to all you who have provided such overwhelming positive feedback, I believe I couldn't have made a better decision. This bow is a incredible. I've only begin to get it though its initial setup, but I am impressed. Granted I'm coming off a Jaguar, which is a solid bow, but I've shot numerous other brands as well. ...and, based upon the way the Alien performs, I think my Hyperlite neighbor is thinking he needs a new bow!
All that being said, I'd probably be as excited about the Tr2 or the Pantera, but i really think the draw cycle and release of the Alien is what it's cracked up to be. But the fact that I picked up the Alien for less than my options for either of the aformentioned is icing on the cake. I should have bought a lottery ticket that day...
