Would anyone know the ATA and Brace of an 05 shadow cat with elite 70 lb limbs, nitrous x a cam?

Should be at or close to 40 1/4" with a 6 1/2" brace height.

I talked to Joel yesterday and he said 40 1/4 and 8 1/2 but I'm at 41 1/2 and 8 13/16 with brand new strings and cable and max lb of 68. So what's my next move?

If possible check if your string and cables are on spec.

I,m going to do that tomorrow. Do I need to measure them under tension and from inside to inside the loop or outside?

In my eyes the difference is that small that you do not need to worry about that. I always measure form inside of loop to inside of loop as this is the effective lengths on the bow.

I knew that 6 1/2" brace height wasn't right, but don't remember where I saw it. Obviously a typo. It is 8 1/2", Don.

Can't remember seeing it, but what cams do you have? I mean which size Nitrous? There are three; A, B, and C. Cable lengths for all three are the same. String length differs.

    A--53.25"
    B--56.25"
    C--61.5"

    Cable length is 42.75"

Also, because of the different sizes the brace height will vary a bit with A Nitrous being lower than B and B being lower than C. I believe the factory specs are with the C Nitrous.

I have Nitrous A cams and the sticker on the bow says 53.25 and 42.75. Would the ATA be different between cam sizes, being over by 1.25 seems like a lot? The string set only has about 50 shots on them so I'll measure them tomorrow and get back with my findings.

The ATA will not change significantly with a different Cam size.

Well I measured the string and cables and the measurements are right on and the cams are timed perfect but I'm still 1" over on the ATA and 3/8 over on brace. At this point I'm clueless as to how to correct the problem if in fact it really matters that much so I'm open to sugestions.
