Not that I ever heard of. There was once a company named High Country. They made some pretty good bows in the late 80's and early 90's. I believe they ran into financial problems and then got bought out. The new company revamped the line, but never have gotten up to snuff like they once were. The new owners refused to honor any previous warranties and such. They never built up a dealer base either and had a pretty bad reputation with what few dealers their bows. Parts for older bows were very hard to come by.
If I can recall correctly this same company is in dire straights again and who knows what is going to happen to them. Whether they are still making bows is questionable as I haven't kept tabs on them. I did have occasion to work on a couple of their bows in 2006 and what I saw left a sour note in my stomach. There are just too many other bows on the market with much better quality IMO; quality in both the product and the company.
