What are the benefits of using a CCS over a traditional cable slide?

Like to know this too. I can see benefits for the 'trendy' side of it and possible benefit to the manufacturer but not much for the archer. Do the strings last longer? More FPS? More accuracy? Do girls find you more attractive?

My understanding is that it's suppose to be smoother draw/release, Quieter, and possibly more FTS..

I have one on order, and will test the smoothness & FPS once I get it installed.

All the High end bows are going to a roller cable guide system, so there must be some reason for it.. Maybe it just look sexy..

I put one on my 09 Bengal and I like it!! It feels smoother on the shot as far as FPS I couldn't tell you cause I don't have a chrono??? It does increase your draw weight about 5#s and I believe it makes it a little quieter.... I'm sure there's plenty others out there that believe the benefits don't outweigh the cost????
