    Default Firecat TR2 limb issue

I noticed that the bottom limb of my firecat does not sit flat on the riser where the limb bolt goes through when I have the poundage maxed out. The upper limb is fine but I am concerned about the bottom limb. I"ll try to post some pics later. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

May want to check the pin for the roto cup to be sure it is pressed in all the way and not holding it up a tad.

The roto cup pin seems fine.

I got to looking real close and the upper limb does have a slight gap as well that is harder to see. I called Martin and the tech said the limbs are probably twisted so I have to take my bow back to the dealer and have them contact Martin to get the limbs replaced. That's a two hour drive one way so I sure hope that it fixes it.

    Have you measured the ATA?

If your ATA will run short your limbs might be bent too far. This could result in less contact around this area.

A to A measures out closer to 32 and 3/4".

Wow, that is even 0.5" too long.

In this case.. I have no idea.

I have read elsewhere that some Martin techs have suggested the a to a for a Firecat should be set closer to 32 1/2" so maybe it is not that far out.

I took it back to the dealer on Saturday to get it fixed. I was told they would probably just ship it to Martin so who knows when I'll get it back.

According to the dealer they replaced the cables, modules, and some spacers on the bow and everything looks good. I am going to pick it up on Saturday and see how she shoots.
