    Default Cougar Speed Flite Qs

Am slowly returning to Archery in order to take advantage of Urban Deer Zones.

Found a Cougar Speed Flite in good shape at a garage sale. Good enough price I couldn't pass it up.

Needs a Rest, but otherwise seems sound. I like the Pulleys vs Cams anyway, so it draws well for me.

Will be taking it to a bowshop for a tune & Fit after deer season (when they are less busy).

What do I need to know about this bow? There are a couple of "things" (metal brackets?) attached to the riser where the limbs attach. Can't figure them out at all.

Can you post a pic. I had several Speed Flytes but I don't remember any metal bracket near the limb pockets.

I've been told elsewhere that they are the attachment points for a quiver - though I've never seen anything like it.

What's a good rest for this bow? I don't quite "get" the whisker biscuit thing, but then I've never used sights before, always sighting along the arrow.

This bow is a bit newer than from my adventures of yore.
