i bought my bengle used, and the arrows it came with stick past the wisker bisquit one inch. is that about right. i fixing to get some new ones and wondering if they need to be a little longer.

Depends on how you like them, Some like them shorter for speed. But for safety when you draw back a broad head, you might want them about 1" to 1 3/4 past the shelf.

I put mine 1: past my rest.
The shelf is the flat part of your riser in front of your whisker bisquit. were your arrow would lay if the bisquit wasn't there.

If you plan on shooting broadheads I would go at least 1" from the shelf as to not cut hand upon release. Had a friend cut his hand good one time, not pretty and ruined the hunting trip plus 15 stiches.

All of my arrows extend 1" past the front of the bow when I'm at full draw.
