Made a shooting/drawing machine!

Hey Guys, Just wanted to share with the martin family, a neat tool I made to help in tuning arrow, tuning bow, and checking dw, dl, cam lean at full draw. I call it the super shooter.

It was nice to tune my arrows with no human error. I found 3 arrows out of 9 not grouping. with a couple of turns of the nocks, I had 9 arrows grouping in a 50 cent piece size.

how did turning the nock make a difference.

Wow! that would be sweet for Broad head tuning. Bet you can do it in a quarter of the time. Thats it, Im making one...

I will send you the plans if you want them. Just pm me your email address. Also the nock turned 180 changes flight, and some times only 5 degrees moves it 1 inch. One more thing it only costs about $70.00 to build the machine and a little time.

It kind scares me to think about that. I shot Fobs and to remove the fob you have to take the knock off, or if you are shooting at target or animal , and get a past threw the fob and knock comes off. Which is the reason I started shooting fobs. They Saves a lot on fletchings. and you don't have a stack of shafts sitting in the corner waiting to be refletched.

This machine puts the same arrow in the same hole everytime. That takes away human error. And tells you where every arrow hits. I have pro vaporVmaxx and you would think the price you pay for them that they would hit all the same. With a few adjustments to the nocks, and usually it changes the arrows. Only occasionally do I have to fix the vanes.

Why does turning nocks influences the point of impact?

Pretty easy. Although the arrow manufacturers always say that their arrows are perfectly round and so on. This is not true. Making carbon arrows is not that easy and it is even harder to make round ones. The spine of an arrow can differ on each side with carbon arrows so if you turn the nock you can adjust the arrow stiffnes to be all the same on all arrows.
