He took two big hops, stood there wondering what was going. His head slumped and then he fell over.
First time I ever watched one drop like that.

Well, at least the deer's dead, but how did you do a shot like that?!?!

When I shot this deer it left a "MASSIVE" blood trail. In ohio we get these archery doe tags for 15$ but they expire after 2 months from the start of archery season. I was close to the expiration on my last tag..... That morning that deer walked right beneath me and was quartered away hard. Thus shrinking my vital shot. At 30 yards the deer finaly stopped and I made this shot. It bounced off its shoulder then went thru its throat and thru its mouth severing its jugular. It didnt live very long after that. I will probably catch some heat for this but the deer died as fast as a double lung. It tasted good because my family and I have already eaten the whole thing already.

I figure it this way: the doe couldn't have hardly suffered, and it really doesn't matter (to a degree) on how it was killed. There are those who probably would tell you that you shouldn't have taken the shot, but then again, they weren't in your shoes and holding your bow.
