    Default My latest upgrades...

    on my 08 Firecat. I just got some new stuff from 3Rivers Archery today. Among them were the musk ox wool string silencers and fletch cover. I'm anxious to see if these silencers make it even quieter than the Limb Saver string leaches I used before. I got the fletch cover after one of the guys I hunted elk and bear with last year said my flo-orange wraps caught his eye from across a small canyon as I was moving through a small opening in the oak brush I was hunting in. He said he really didn't see me well - just the bright color wraps caught his eye.

    2008 Martin Firecat Pro-X (29" DL, 66# DW), home-made TRG, new VEMs, DS Advantage/HHA Pro-5519 front sight, No-Peep Sight Eliminator, Limb-Driver arrow rest, B-Stinger stabilizer/dampener, custom upper STS, G5 Head-Loc quiver on custom mounting bracket. Gold Tip Velocity XT300 arrows with Bi-Delta 2.5" Sharkstooth vanes and Grizzly single-bevel broadheads, 498 grains at 262 fps (22% FOC)
