learned from DIY sections. These cardboard are dang heavy, but very durable outdoor.

The upper STS I made earlier is still in use as well as my home-made TRG and Saunders cable slide.

Hey rocky i like the quiver mount bracket that is pretty cool i see you put a limb saver on it was it vibrating or is that just for precaution?

Hey Lungbuster, thanks for the compliment. I put the limbsaver on as a precaution. I didn't really notice any noise coming from it but I'm kinda anal about vibes and noise - if there is any I'll try to locate and eliminate or at least minimize it and I like to be proactive and prevent it from the start too. My first quiver mount was made from 1/8" aluminum and it wasn't nearly stiff enough and allowed the quiver and shafts to vibrate just handling the bow and during the shot. The mount I have on now is made from 1/4" aluminum and is much stiffer. I used the upper STS mount I made some time ago as the attachment point for the mount and found the junction of the upper and middle parts of the riser to be a pretty good location for the mount - the mounting plate sets nice and secure in the rounded area and I made curved reliefs in the underside to help it self-align into position as I tightened the bolt down. The final piece is pretty simple but it did take me a couple of prototype iterations to get it right and make it simple.

This is my new-to-me '08 Martin Bengal. A relative gave me a great deal on it. It's in great shape, and is a pleasure to shoot. The string leeches are gonna go. The top one broke two points off. I picked up some cat whiskers tonight, and will put them on. I picked up a Kiwikee Kwiver, too.

Very nice Cougar FC/Firecat! I'm jealous to say the least, isn't christmas great?!
My wife packed my bags and threw me out, as I was walking out the door, she told me "I hope you have a long and miserable life!"... To which I replied "Oh, now you want me to stay?!" LOL
