we look for and hunt fresh buck sign this, area had been active for 6 days - on this day all was right for an afternoon hunt -this area is thick - got in my portable about 2 -activity started at 4 saw 2nice bucks -about 30 min before dark this buck came in and milled around 2o min.at10 to20yards.drew in a couple of times no shot let down . saw another buck at 30 yards .finally this buck gave me agood shot at 15yards ran about 75or80yards [this story as best remembered as told to me by the shooter]the dog is aDeutsch DARHTARR4YR.EXCELLS ON cripples-we use her on all tracking -she is avery good pointing dog an companion where i go BOW goes.good luck to all. wes
