I have yet to get a turkey with one of my Martins, but have killed 3 with another brand of bow. Last year was my first year hunting out of a blind, and while it was nice, I never got a bird in close enough. Hoping this year will be different. Always before, I tucked down in the brush, or hid behind a small chunk of camo netting. MUCH nicer sitting comfortably in a blind. lol

Neighbor has been complaiming about the turkeys making a mess in his orchard, so I'll be setting up under an apple tree this spring, unless I can get that old truck cleaned out. He has an old truck half burried in brush thats been there 15-20 years, with the bed cleaned out, my Ameristep G 20 popup will just fit in the bed, should be good.

With turkeys you don't have to worry about hiding the blind. You don't need any mesh either, wear black and close the back windows.
