I haven't shot mine with fingers. I know better. The acute string angle will cause such bad finger pinch that it's just not a good idea. Try to find a longer a2a bow, like up around 40" long.

Not meaning to hijack your thread. Is the Ridge Line the same as the Firecat 360 without the claws/teeth?

If you mean Ridge Hunter, then pretty much yes. It's got the same riser as the Silencer but in a one cam.

If you look at the Martin website you will see that the Silencer and FC 400 share the same limb, string and cables. The Ridge Hunter and FC 360 also share the limb same string and cables.

^^ The way it should be, never having to know if customer service is great or not! Too bad it isn't that way for all companies. It makes you wonder when eveyone knows about great customer service from a company doesn't it? ^^

That's what I thought. Have a catalog and was folding pages to compare and those four look like two. The only difference I can find is the Silencer is .2 pounds lighter than the FC. The specs on the 360 and the Ridge Hunter are identical.

If you want to shoot fingers, the only Martin bow you should be considering is the Shadowcat

the string angles on all the other bows are way too harsh
