    Default Took the Leap

I've been bowhunting for five years now, my first and current bow is a PSE STL (Primos Speak The Language). When i started bowhunting, i didn't know anyone who did and just walked into the local bow shop who recommended the bow and have been very happy ever since. Now days, i have four great hunting buddies who all bow hunt and do so with the shorter ATA bows. Mine is 38", really never have much of an issue with it except in those few occassions i hunted out of a ground blind (top limb hitting blind). So i took the leap after an exhausting past few months testing many of the new bows on the market, i just ordered the new Martin Silencer. Must admit i'm a little nervous, my PSE has never failed me, but the feel of the Silencer felt great and looking forward to adding new accessories. Plus, i'm sure the chrono speed should be higher than my current 245......hehe.

First I'd like to welcome you to these forums. There isn't much info here right now as the forum was just revamped within the last couple of days and hopefully we'll get the bugs worked out and get all the old threads back. Please accept my apologies for this, hopefully, tempoary inconvenience.

In the meantime ask any questions you may have. There are great bunch of guys on here willing to share their experience and help others. I hope you get your bow quickly and enjoy it to the fullest.

welcome to the sight. I had the an '05 STL that I swapped for my '08 Cheetah. AtA was to long to the point of annoying and the other guy thought the same bout the short AtA of the Cheetah. Now we're both happy and I'm sure you will be,too. Martin bows are awesome. Hope you enjoy it as much as we all do.
